Baseball Game Preview: Cedar Park Timberwolves vs. Lehman Lobos

The Cedar Park Timberwolves will challenge the Lehman Lobos at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Cedar Park came up short against Lehman on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Lehman's part, Darren Roberson and Franky Delgadillo did most of the damage at the plate: Roberson got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base, while Delgadillo went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Delgadillo a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Maddox Vargas, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Lehman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lehman and bumps their season record up to 8-11. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.5 runs. As for Cedar Park, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
