Basketball Recap: Leadore Has No Trouble Against Sho-Ban

Leadore won the last time they faced Sho-Ban and things went their way on Saturday too. The Leadore Mustangs strolled past the Sho-Ban Chiefs with points to spare, taking the game 52-35. The Mustangs pushed the score to 50-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Chiefs cut but never quite recovered from.

Among those leading the charge was Azelynn Jones, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Haylee Bird, who posted ten points and six rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Leadore and bumps their season record up to 14-2. As for Sho-Ban, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Leadore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sho-Ban has already played their next game (against Taylor's Crossing), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
