Baseball Recap: Goodman-Pembine Comes Up Short

Goodman-Pembine had lost ten straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-12 to make it 11. They lost 10-0 to the Niagara Badgers. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 17-3 to the Badgers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Niagara, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-11. They not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30th (when they won 11-1).

For Niagara's part, the team relied heavily on Remington Buchanan, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Noah Wheeler also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Goodman-Pembine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Niagara, they will square off against Northland Lutheran at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
