Hannibal is a perfect 10-0 against Mexico since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Pirates will take on the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Hannibal's defense has only allowed 11.8 points per game this season, so Mexico's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Hannibal is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Fort Zumwalt West just ended the team's seven-game winning streak last Friday. They fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 31-28. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Pirates have suffered since August 29th.

Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Mexico had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 28-21 win over Kirksville on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Mexico's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Hannibal, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Hannibal was able to grind out a solid victory over Mexico in their previous matchup back in September, winning 26-14. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
