Somerset is a perfect 10-0 against Greater Johnstown since October of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home court against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Greater Johnstown took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Somerset, who comes in off a win.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Somerset took on Tyrone on Thursday. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Golden Eagles.

Somerset had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-13, 25-19, 25-12.

Somerset's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Peyton Kaltenbaugh led the charge by getting eight digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Greater Johnstown lost 3-0 to Clearfield on Wednesday.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-7, 25-10.

Somerset pushed their record up to 20-5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Greater Johnstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.

Somerset took their victory against Greater Johnstown in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
