With a playoff win on the line, Fort White rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hilliard Red Flashes, sneaking past 62-59. The victory was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won 11 contests in a row.

Fort White's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Jackspn, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 20 points. The dominant performance also gave Jackspn a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (75%). Tafari Moe was another key player, going 6-for-15 en route to 16 points.

Several Red Flashes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cj Hall, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 12 points along with five boards and five steals. Hall is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 46% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ta'Veon Dunbar, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 14 points.

Fort White's record now sits at 15-9. As for Hilliard, their loss dropped their record down to 15-6.

Coming up, Fort White will square off against Crossroad Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 26th. Fort White has insisted on making their last three contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-0 during that stretch of close contests. Hilliard does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
