Upsala is 9-1 against St. John's Prep since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Upsala Cardinals will head out on the road to challenge the St. John's Prep Johnnies at 7:15 p.m. Upsala is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.9 points per game this season.

Upsala will bounce into Thursday's matchup after beating Royalton, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Upsala came out on top against Royalton by a score of 52-41 on Tuesday. The Cardinals' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

It was another big night for Jack Primus, who posted 14 points along with six assists and six boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nicholas Guthrie, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, St. John's Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Osakis, falling 80-53.

Upsala has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for St. John's Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
