Crespi scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Bishop Amat, 37-30. At the time, the Lancers were ranked 22nd in the state, while the Celts were 67th.

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Crespi, who defeated 22nd ranked Bishop Amat, 37-30. Conor McMahan threw for 251 yards and 2 touchdowns and ran for 22 yards during the win.

Troy Thomas' team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Torrance Brumfield chipped in 185 yards. Nathan Washington helped Crespi's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 62 yards.
