Basketball Recap: Cousino Comes Up Short

Cousino lost against Chippewa Valley back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cousino Patriots were dealt a 62-26 defeat at the hands of the Chippewa Valley Big Reds. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Cousino and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Chippewa Valley, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cousino will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grosse Pointe North at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Chippewa Valley also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Dakota at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
