Their defense stepped up to hand Arendell Parrott Academy a 2-0 shutout. The victory was some much needed relief for Wayne Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

AnaLeigh Miranda was the driving force of Wayne Christian's attack as she scored both of Wayne Christian's goals, bringing her season total up to ten goals.

Meanwhile, Eastern Wayne got the win against Beddingfield on Thursday by a conclusive 6-0. Eastern Wayne might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by three goals or more this season.

Eastern Wayne's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three games. As for Wayne Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-9.
