Baseball Game Preview: Plant Panthers vs. Steinbrenner Warriors

For the second straight game, Plant will face off against Steinbrenner. The Panthers will host the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Plant is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Plant is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past Steinbrenner 11-4. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Plant got a great performance from NICK TOWNLEY as he tossed six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. TOWNLEY has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, CASH STRAYER was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was JACKSON CUCCHI, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run and three RBI.

Plant lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Plant's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Steinbrenner, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-12.
