Basketball Recap: West Marshall Piles Up the Points Against Nevada

West Marshall waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They claimed a resounding 67-37 win over the Nevada Cubs. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 30 points or more this season.

West Marshall pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.8 points. As for Nevada, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Marshall will head out to face off against Carlisle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in West Marshall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Nevada, they will square off against Webster City at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
