Soccer Recap: Mott Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Milford, Mott was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Pontiac Phoenix. The high-scoring effort was just what Mott needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Mott's win bumped their record up to 5-10-3. As for Pontiac, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mott will face off against Clio at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pontiac, they will take on Stoney Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stoney Creek's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
