Basketball Game Preview: Goddard Rockets vs. Roswell Coyotes

Goddard is 2-8 against Roswell since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Goddard Rockets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Roswell Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Goddard is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They fell 62-55 to Taos.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roswell). They put the hurt on Centennial with a sharp 83-60 win on Saturday. The Coyotes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Roswell's third in a row) raised their record to 12-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Goddard, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
