Basketball Recap: Howard Comes Up Short

Howard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 46-27 to the Colman-Egan C-E Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the C-E Hawks are ranked tenth).

Howard's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Colman-Egan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Looking ahead, Howard will face off against Arlington at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Colman-Egan, they will take on Deubrook at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. The Dolphins have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
