Volleyball Recap: Atascocita Starts Season with Victory at Home

Atascocita took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cypress Creek Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.

Atascocita was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-9.

Jordan Morrow paced Atascocita's offense, picking up 13 kills. Morrow got some help from Gracie Williams and her 30 assists. Williams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Atascocita will take on Floresville at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday. As for Cypress Creek, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Cypress Lakes at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
