Nine must be West County's lucky number: they beat Potosi with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 9-3 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

West County's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Caidence Buikema, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-1.

West County pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
