Basketball Recap: Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Comes Up Short

Pioneer-Pleasant Vale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 60-31 loss at the hands of the Waukomis Chiefs. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 469th, while the Chiefs are ranked 187th).

Pioneer-Pleasant Vale's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Waukomis, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Pioneer-Pleasant Vale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-36 defeat against Covington-Douglas on the 25th. As for Waukomis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-55 victory against Cimarron on the 25th.
