La Porte has gone 8-2 against Ball recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out to take on the Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. Ball took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on La Porte, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, La Porte got the win against Texas City by a conclusive 10-1.

Meanwhile, Ball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Iowa Colony.

La Porte's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Ball, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

La Porte took their victory against Ball when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 21-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
