Basketball Recap: Portsmouth Takes a Loss

Portsmouth and Pinkerton squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Portsmouth had to settle for second. They came up short against the Pinkerton Astros, falling 53-31. The Clippers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Portsmouth's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Pinkerton, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.

Coming up, Portsmouth will head out to take on Goffstown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinkerton, they will square off against Dover at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Dover will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Pinkerton surely won't give up without a fight.
