Soccer Recap: Meridian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Meridian lost against Oak Harbor back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Meridian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 219th, while Oak Harbor are ranked 76th).

Meridian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-11-1 record this season. As for Oak Harbor, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Meridian will challenge rival Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oak Harbor is set to face off against their familiar foe Mt. Baker at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
