Basketball Recap: Key Drops Highest Score of Season Against Cristo Rey Jesuit

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Key). They blew past the Cristo Rey Jesuit Hornets, posting a 77-48 victory. The Obezags haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Key to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anjo Yette, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Manganaro, who went 5-for-8 en route to 18 points.

Key's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Cristo Rey Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Key won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Beth Tfiloh at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Key is facing Beth Tfiloh at the right time seeing as Beth Tfiloh is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Cristo Rey Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
