Football Game Preview: Wilmington Greyhounds vs. Karns City Gremlins

The Wilmington Greyhounds will face off against the Karns City Gremlins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Wilmington comes in on three and Karns City on four.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Wilmington against Sharpsville as the squad secured a 51-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won six games by 33 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Karns City earned a 35-23 win over Punxsutawney on Friday.

Karns City's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Wilmington, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-2.

Everything came up roses for Wilmington against Karns City in their previous meeting back in November of 2020, as the team secured a 42-14 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Gremlins' Luke Garing, who rushed for 59 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
