Baseball Recap: Madison-Grant Comes Up Short

Madison-Grant came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Oak Hill Golden Eagles, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-4 on Thursday.

Madison-Grant saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Martin, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Madison-Grant's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Oak Hill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-7.

Coming up, Madison-Grant will square off against Taylor at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Argylls are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Oak Hill, they will face off against Noblesville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Millers' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Golden Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
