Sylvania can  bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Geraldine Bulldogs as they made off with  a  7-1 victory. The Rams not only won  on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win  since March 22nd.
 Braelyn Hastings spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up seven Ks.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Mara Anderson, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most  hits  she has posted  over her last 12  contests. The team also got some help courtesy of  Molly Weaver, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
Sylvania's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Geraldine,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-6.
 Coincidentally, Sylvania and Geraldine will both be playing Collinsville the next time they take the field. The Rams will head out to face the Panthers at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
