Volleyball Recap: Tipton Wins Going Away Against New Bloomfield

It was a proper cat-fight when Tipton challenged New Bloomfield on Tuesday. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. The Cardinals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Tipton's got stronger as the match went on, holding New Bloomfield to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-8, 25-7.

Ava Schlotzhauer paced Tipton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Schlotzhauer got some help from Kaylie Kohler and her 19 assists. Anna Crane controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Tipton and bumps their season record up to 14-7-2. As for New Bloomfield, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13-1.

Tipton has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Warsaw on the 8th. As for New Bloomfield, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against North Callaway on the 9th.
