Basketball Recap: Forest Park Panthers vs. Jackson Jaguars

Forest Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss. They were dealt a 79-17 defeat at the hands of the Jackson Jaguars. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-6 back in December of 2024.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Aubrielle Labeaud and Karisma Davis, who each put up two points.

Jackson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaliyah Weaver led the charge by going 5 of 7 en route to 13 points. Journey Conley was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards.

Forest Park's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Jackson, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
