Basketball Game Preview: Providence Classical Christian Academy Panthers vs. Rolla HomeSchool

After both having extra time off, the Providence Classical Christian Academy Panthers and Rolla HomeSchool will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Rolla HomeSchool took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Providence Classical Christian Academy, who comes in off a win.

Back in December of 2024, Providence Classical Christian Academy beat St. Paul Lutheran 51-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Providence Classical Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lance Zrodlowski, who went 11 for 22 on his way to 23 points in addition to seven steals and five boards. Those seven steals gave Zrodlowski a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Mattull, who went 9 of 18 on his way to 19 points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Rolla HomeSchool played a tough contest last Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Mid-Missouri HomeSchool an easy 55-34 win. The match marked Rolla HomeSchool's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Rolla HomeSchool now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Providence Classical Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
