Volleyball Recap: Jackson Lanfersieck Key Part of Team Effort in Longhorns Win

Parkway West's tournament run continued when they took on St. Mary on Saturday. The Longhorns walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dragons.

Parkway West got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jackson Lanfersieck out in front who had 15 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Lanfersieck has posted over his last six games. Aten Hetley was another key player, getting nine assists and two aces.

Parkway West's win bumped their record up to 3-12. As for St. Mary's, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Parkway West will be taking part in a tournament against Fort Zumwalt North at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for St. Mary's, they will take on Maplewood-Richmond Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
