Bedford is  a perfect 10-0 against Warrensville Heights since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bearcats will look to defend their home field  against the Tigers  at 4:30  p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
Bedford will bounce into Thursday's   contest after  beating Lorain, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Bearcats came out on top against the Titans by a score of  14-11  on Wednesday. The game was the first time the Bearcats have beaten the Titans on their field since April 26, 2018.
 Bedford let  JJ Hudson and  Ryan Porter run wild. Hudson  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI, while  Porter  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases and three  runs.  Damarion Gordon was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run.
Meanwhile, Warrensville Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch  last Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They were two  runs away from ending the streak, but they lost  a   13-11 heartbreaker at the hands of Garfield Heights.
 Leighlan McClain spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned  (and nine unearned) runs on six hits.
 On the hitting side,  Everett Durham was cooking despite his team's loss,   getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with five  stolen bases and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Joshua Brantley, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with three  stolen bases and one  run.
 The  victory  got Bedford back to even at 5-5. As for Warrensville Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
