Football Game Preview: Dobson Mustangs vs. Goldwater Bulldogs + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Dobson will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will take on the Goldwater Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Dobson's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against ALA - Gilbert North on Friday. They were outmatched by the Eagles and fell 45-0. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Eagles are ranked 22nd).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goldwater). They blew past North, posting a 36-6 victory. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Bulldogs with their most commanding win of the season.

Goldwater found their leader in freshman Eduardo Gastelum, who rushed for 77 yards and one TD on only five carries.

Dobson now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Goldwater, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
