Southwest Virginia Academy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 5-1 to the Carlisle Chiefs. Southwest Virginia Academy were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

The victory got Carlisle back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, Southwest Virginia Academy and Carlisle will both be playing Virginia Episcopal School the next time they take the pitch. Southwest Virginia Academy will head out to face Virginia Episcopal School at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Carlisle will host them at 4:30 p.m. on April 7.
