Basketball Game Preview: Twin Peaks Classical Academy Timberwolves vs. Mile High Academy Mustangs

The Twin Peaks Classical Academy Timberwolves will take on the Mile High Academy Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Twin Peaks Classical Academy: 29.9, Mile High Academy: 26.1) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Saturday, Twin Peaks Classical Academy came up short against Peyton and fell 44-33. The Timberwolves haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Mile High Academy earned a 33-21 win over Rocky Mountain Lutheran on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy better keep an eye on Delanie Prowant. She was instrumental in Mile High Academy's win, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. What's more, Prowant also posted a 20% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024. Kylie Helm was another key player, putting up seven points and six steals.

Mile High Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in ten consecutive matchups.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Mile High Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
