Ashland will bounce into Saturday's match after beating Wooster, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Ashland walked away with a 69-56 win over Wooster on Tuesday.

Ashland's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Washington, they are also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Ashland lost to Washington at home by a decisive 82-65 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Washington's Chris Knight, who shot 5-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 31 points and 11 rebounds.
