Manual came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Rangeview Raiders by a score of 5-1.

Leo Zimmerman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Edgar Salas, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Manual's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 10-2 (and 3-5 when he doesn't).

Manual's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.4 runs over those games. As for Rangeview, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14-1.

As of now, neither Manual nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
