Leah Perez had an outrageously good game as she scored 23 points along with four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Zoe Campos was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with two steals.
Despite the defeat, Downtown Doral saw an underclassman step up: Isabella Osorno scored 16 points.
Florida Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Downtown Doral, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
