Basketball Recap: Antioch Starts off Right with Win over Niles West

Antioch had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 48-32 win over the Niles West Wolves on Monday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Sequoits also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.

Antioch can attribute much of their success to Heidi Rathmann, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Heaven Nix, who put up seven points.

Coming up, Antioch will face off against Lake Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Niles West, they will square off against Lake Forest Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
