Softball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline lost against Thomas More Prep-Marian on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Thunderbirds lost 14-2 to the Monarchs. The Thunderbirds just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Skyline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kory Anschutz, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Thomas More Prep-Marian, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Skyline will be playing at home against Cimarron at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbirds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bluejays have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Thomas More Prep-Marian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Dodge City at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Monarchs are facing the Demons at the right time seeing as the Demons are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
