After a string of five wins, Lake Highlands's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a hard 67-49 fall against the Dallas Jesuit Rangers. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rangers earlier this season, when they won 47-43.

Lake Highlands' defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 21-7. As for Dallas Jesuit, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Lake Highlands and Dallas Jesuit should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Lake Highlands (ranked 41st) will meet Berkner (ranked 139th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Highlands will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
