Volleyball Recap: South Lafourche Wins Going Away Against Booker T. Washington

South Lafourche won the last time they faced Booker T. Washington and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tarpons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tarpons.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-16, 25-4.

Aubree Lombas paced South Lafourche's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lombas got some help from Addison Rodrigue and her 34 assists. Lombas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

South Lafourche's victory bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Booker T. Washington, they moved to 11-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coming up, South Lafourche will face off against Fisher at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Booker T. Washington, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Young Audiences at 4:30 p.m.
