Soccer Game Preview: William Smith vs. Rocky Mountain Lutheran

William Smith will face off against Rocky Mountain Lutheran at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. William Smith will be strutting in after a victory while Rocky Mountain Lutheran will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row, William Smith turned things around against Girls Athletic Leadership School - Denver on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Thunder. It was an even better day for Stephanie Flores as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Rocky Mountain Lutheran's game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Nederland by a score of 1-0. Rocky Mountain Lutheran have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Isabella Curtis, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Rocky Mountain Lutheran squad sat out for Thursday's game. With Curtis sidelined, Rocky Mountain Lutheran had to make some changes to the lineup. Paisley Preston played for 40 minutes having averaged 25 this season and Ada Stephenson got 80 vs. an average of 48.9.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran's loss dropped their record down to 2-6-4. As for William Smith, their win bumped their record up to 2-8.
