Northwest Christian proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 33) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They slipped by the Benjamin Franklin Chargers 60-59. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 48-30 victory the Chargers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

Benjamin Franklin's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ethan Sang, who went 7-for-11 on his way to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Sang has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 63% every time he's hit the court this season. Brody Hansen also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Northwest Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Benjamin Franklin, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Northwest Christian will welcome Odyssey Institute at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Benjamin Franklin, they are taking a road trip to take on Seton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Chargers will need to watch out since the Sentinels have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
