Soccer Recap: Sturgeon Bay Starts Season with Win at Home

Sturgeon Bay gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Peshtigo Bulldogs an 8-0 shutout. Sturgeon Bay haven't had any issues with Peshtigo recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Peshtigo's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Sturgeon Bay is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against The Prairie School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Peshtigo, they will take on Algoma at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
