Baseball Game Preview: Rejoice Christian Eagles vs. Cascia Hall Commandos

Rejoice Christian is 1-9 against Cascia Hall since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Commandos at 5:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Cascia Hall will be up against a hot Rejoice Christian squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Eagles came out on top against Bishop Kelley by a score of 14-10 on Monday.

Caleb Hall was incredible, going 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Buntin, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cascia Hall). They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over Commerce on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Commandos.

Rejoice Christian pushed their record up to 14-14 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Cascia Hall, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.

Everything went Rejoice Christian's way against Cascia Hall in their previous matchup last Saturday, as Rejoice Christian made off with a 13-2 win. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Commandos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
