Softball Recap: Walled Lake Western Takes a Loss

Walled Lake Western lost against South Lyon East back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 18-6 to the Cougars. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Izamar Oberholtzer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenna Hixson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Walled Lake Western's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for South Lyon East, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-14.

While Walled Lake Western had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
