Recap: Sandwich Indians vs. Princeton Tigers
The Sandwich Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. Their rough 60-36 loss to Princeton might stick with them for a while. Sandwich has not had much luck with Princeton recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Princeton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Miyah Marie fox out in front who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Camryn Driscoll was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Sandwich's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Princeton, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandwich won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Plano at 7:00 p.m. on November 28th. Hopefully Plano focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Wednesday. As for Princeton, they will head out on the road to face off against Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hall will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Princeton is ranked 68th).
