Basketball Recap: Browerville Piles Up the Points Against Sebeka

Browerville won the last time they faced Sebeka and things went their way on Thursday too. The Browerville Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sebeka Trojans 87-50. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Sebeka saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Max Lake posted 13 points in addition to six steals and five assists. Lake has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevin Lee, who had ten points and five boards.

Browerville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.8 points over those games. Sebeka is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17.

Browerville has already played their next game (against Swanville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sebeka, they have already played their next contest, a 73-65 defeat against Pillager on the 21st.
