Baseball Game Preview: Cheney Blackhawks vs. Mt. Spokane Wildcats

Cheney hasn't had much luck against Mt. Spokane recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Blackhawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m.

Cheney is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They fell 7-2 to Mt. Spokane.

Cheney saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marcus Belarde, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

The victory was the third in a row for Mt. Spokane, bringing their record up to 11-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Cheney, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
