Baseball Recap: Notre Dame Prep Find Success

Notre Dame Prep won the last time they faced Mountain Pointe and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Saints walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Pride. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

Shane Behnke looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Aidan Martinez was excellent, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Boeding, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Notre Dame Prep's record is now 7-12. As for Mountain Pointe, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Coming up, Notre Dame Prep will host Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mountain Pointe, they will head out on the road to face off against Maricopa at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
