Baseball Game Preview: Barrington Fillies/Broncos vs. Hoffman Estates Hawks

For the second straight game, Barrington will face off against Hoffman Estates. The Fillies/Broncos will square off against the Hawks at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Barrington will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Barrington is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Hoffman Estates a 14-0 shutout on Monday. The Fillies/Broncos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Will Renshaw tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.
